PEMRA Fines HumTV Rs. 1 Million For Airing Objectionable and Indecent Scenes in Drama

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has fined Hum TV Rs. 1 million for airing objectionable content on a drama serial. Hum TV broadcasted the episode called Chew Gum in the drama serial titled Kitni Girhein Baqi Hein on 29th January 2017.

The episode invited numerous complaints from the public, prompting the electronic media watchdog to take notice.

This kind of low graded TV Broadcaster should be permanently banned . We have enough of this trash spread all over the world. Do we really need local crap added to the heap ?
If these money hungry rich stations can't produce anything meaningful and promote good in life, then , we don't need to allow them to spread trash .

Rs. 1 million is nothing as such TVs get the hell of 'foreign' fundings to air such kind of stuff. These TVs should be banned for 3 to 6 months initially and then 1 year and then permanently.
