:D seriously...i still dnt get these marriage n civil partnership laws here.... Like u can have as many woman to live with u if they want to..yet the laws prevent u to marry them.... I think they hv inherited this frm the church n yet to change it...

Frankly speaking, they have made marriage almost irrelevant as far as the law is concerned, and that to me is as far away as you can get from the law of God ........

in yr definition then... 99% muslims are not muslims.. as tell me how many muslims pray 5 times a day????
dodging prayers is unislamic but the person is still called a muslim.... i had the same debate with one of my friends and in the end he agreed... and understood the difference b/w being a muslim and islam.... a muslim majority state and an islamic state...

If a person does not pray then he'sa sinner who should acknowledge the mistake and try to fix it but if he does not acknowledge the wrong and opposes praying then I don't think anyone will call him a muslim. Similarly as muslims we should have our state run in accordance with islam but if we make no effort to have an islamic state and infact be staunchly against an islamic state in that case we are not muslim.

Im not against an islamic state...all im sayin is when ppl become islamuc well hv an islamuc state... No one shud force it.... When ppl become religious will vote for religious parties who hv got one point agenda... Sharyat state..... An I am not surprised at your inability to fathom simplicity of this concept!

mqm tries to color everything in light of ethnicity.
I am a Muhajir just as much as Altaf hussain or members of mqm, I do not see any racism in the posts and I the only illogical posts I see are by mqm followers.

Stop being petty and small, look beyond Karachi. Growing up is a painful process and some can not handle it well.

I used to say all Urdu speaking, who do not influenced by MQM phenomena, are to be weighted in Gold. They are our brothers.
MQM lover/followers are really Manafiq, Power seeker, Ghaddar and traitors. They have forget the cause of establishment of Pakistan just for a few worldly things.
My parents are also Muhajir from east Punjab. My Grander Mother herself told me the cause of Paksitan. My Grand father was died in Hijrat.
