Pakistan behind Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka in healthcare

حال ہی میں ایک طبی جریدے میں شائع ہونے والی رپورٹ میں انکشاف کیا گیا ہے کہ پاکستان صحت کے شعبے میں بنگلادیش، سری لنکا، بھوٹان اور بھارت سے بھی پیچھے ہے۔

معروف برطانوی طبی جرنل دی لانسٹ کی ایک رپورٹ کے مطابق علاج معالجے کی سہولیات کی فراہمی اور معیار کے اعتبار سے 195 ممالک میں پاکستان کا 154 واں نمبر ہے۔

اس فہرست کے مطابق چین 48 ویں، سری لنکا 71، بنگلہ دیش 133، بھوٹان 134، بھارت 145 اور نیپال 149 ویں نمبر پر ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق علاج معالجے کی سہولیات کی فراہمی اور معیار کے اعتبار سے سب سے بہترین آئس لینڈ، ناروے، نیدر لینڈ، لیگسمبرگ، فن لینڈ اور آسٹریلیا ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق 195 ممالک میں صحت کے شعبے میں سب سے ناقص کارکردگی دکھانے والے ممالک میں وسطی افریقا، صومالیا، گنی بساؤ، چاڈ اور افغانستان شامل ہیں۔

It is true that healthcare condition in Pakistan is very much critical as government budget allocation for healthcare sector is just like to put salt in a dish. As people die in outside the hospitals without getting treatment. It is the responsibility of the government to provide quality healthcare services to the general public. As many welfare organizations in Pakistan committed to provide quality healthcare facilities to all the segments of society.
