ISLAMABAD: Responding to calls for nomination of Nobel Peace Prize, Prime Minsiter Imran Khan has said that he is not worthy of this prize.

The prime minister tweeted: “The person worthy of this would be the one who solves the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and paves the way for peace & human development in the subcontinent”.

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نےکہا ہے کہ نوبل انعام کا حق دارمیں نہیں، بلکہ وہ ہوگا جومسئلہ کشمیر حل کرے گا۔
سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹوئٹر پر وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے اپنے ٹوئٹ میں کہا کہ میں امن کے نوبل انعام کا حقدار نہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ نوبل انعام کا مستحق وہ شخص ہو گا جو کشمیری عوام کی امنگوں کی روشنی میں تنازعہ کشمیر کا حل تلاش کرے گا اور برصغیر میں امن و انسانی ترقی کی راہ ہموار کرے گا۔




واضح رہے کہ چند روز قبل وزیر اعظم عمران خان کو امن کا نوبل انعام دینے کی آن لائن پٹیشن پر ہزاروں افراد نے دستخط کیے تھےاور اس حوالے سے وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات فواد چوہدری کی جانب سے قومی اسمبلی سیکریٹریٹ میں قرارداد جمع کرائی گئی تھی۔
یہاں تک کہ ٹوئٹر پر بھی وزیر اعظم عمران خان کو امن کا نوبل انعام دینے کی مہم کا آغاز کیا گیا تھا اور ’نوبل پیس پرائز فار عمران خان‘ (NobelPeacePrizeForImranKhan#) کا ہیش ٹیگ بھی استعمال کیا گیا تھا۔
