Thanks fareeha,I agree with the views that we killed our film industry ourselves, dont have to blame indian movies. In 60's and 70's ,indian movies were in pak cinemas but our films were at par with them and making good business but the change of trend in pak industry that most of the movies start showing too much violence and the names were after "Gujjars" because gujjars were also the producers so this trend slow down pak audiences towards our movies and slowly it killed the industry. In india, film industry is given very much preference and there is a ministry alloted to film industry but in pakistan,Zia ul haq destroyed it literally but his own family was watching indian movies what a contrast? pak govt should announce a ministry for fim industry who look after the problems of film , theatres and stage. Give maximum benefits to these three so they can take a stand and provide jobs to its citizens. There are no well known academies in pakistan whereas in India they have hundreds of them and also their private sector like big industrialists help their fim industries by investing billions of rupees, this way millions of jobs are provided .if our film industry is revived, there can be thousands of jobs created like technicians, print and electronic media etc.Make movies which people like, violence in movies have already wreck the public image .There are lots of topics ,one of them is comedy which will make business any way.Haider Ch is the example,a very sucessful director and producer .Stop the people who have a criminal record, cannot enter the film industry because the downfall of this industry ,those people are the big factors.
