Never again a multi-billionaire should be allowed to become prime minister or president of Pakistan.

It is widely rumored that General Raheel Sharif has refused to support Nawaz Shariff to leash brutal crackdown against PTI and PAT supporters. General Raheel is a true patriot and loyal Pakistani whereas Nawaz Shariff is not loyal to the country but to his multi-billion dollars business, financial and industrial empire.

Never again in the history of Pakistan a multi-billionaire and one of the richest men in the world should be allowed to become prime minister or president of Pakistan because he will never be patriotic and loyal to his country. This is one of the reasons that I am against Nawaz Shariff becoming prime minister of Pakistan because he dream is to become the richest man of the world whilst he remains prime minister of Pakistan.

I wish that C.In.C of Pakistan, General Raheel warned prime minsiter, Nawaz Shariff that the armed forces of Pakistan will not allow him anymore to kill innocent citizens of Pakistan.

@ Saladin:The problem isn't as such his riches but the fact that most of his fortunes are outside of the country. When the majority of your money is outside your own country that severely exposes you to external influence and you cease to act in the best interests of your own country. He can be as rich as he wish as long as his riches and his entire stakes are with his country. But on the other hand I can see your point too and that is something even Islam tells us that keep power away from moneyed people.

Asad Khan: In western democracies every politician who stands for parliament is asked at the constituency level to give up his/her personal business interests, directorships etc and declare his personal assets to qualify for candidacy of their constituency. The reason is simple and clear that person's personal financial interests will interfere with their services to the country and nation. A candidate is selected purely on merits and not on strength of his/her bank balance or some one's recommendation. .
