Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Syed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari launched a web portal of vast beneficial interests. Especially designed for the interaction of Government with overseas talented Pakistanis, this portal has been titled as 'Naya Pakistan Calling'. The basic purpose of designing and launching this particular app is to hire services of Pakistani diaspora in various fields according to their mode of interests and expertise with accordance to national development plan.
A Gateway to Prosperity
No doubt Pakistan at that moment is in need of vast term prosperity-based plans and we can say that Naya Pakistan Calling portal will have a real time impact on the prosperity of our country. It will no doubt act as a gateway for overseas Pakistanis from where they would easily share their professional expertise and skills with their homeland.
At that event of launching ceremony Syed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari addressed a gathering at the Overseas Pakistan Foundation (OPF) where he explained the government's resolve about maximum capitalization of this is new resource.
Another useful aspect of this project is that it will be like direct involvement of overseas Pakistanis in the important strategic decision and infrastructural projects of their homeland. No doubt, in some sense it will give them a reliable sense of ownership in their 'Naya' Pakistan.
Impact of the project on Overseas Pakistanis
Further extending the above point of view Syed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari said that with the help of this project overseas Pakistanis would be given not only a sense of ownership but they would also get a life time chance to work under the dynamic leadership command of Charismatic Prime Minister Imran Khan. He also stated that it is a pity that such a useful talent of overseas Pakistanis was not utilized in the past years by previous governments.
As all have witnessed since the very first day that the Imran Khan Government has all its concentration upon utmost utilization of the most valuable assets which were not even touched by the previous governments. It is a bitter fact that the most ignored asset was the overseas Pakistani talent, which had abandoned their homes and children for the bright future of their families and motherland's economic growth. That is the reason why Imran Khan has always shown untiring commitment for their engagement with Pakistan. At that crucial moment when we are in need of foreign deposits, this app will prove to be very much useful in the utilization of our overseas capabilities.
The Launching of such an important digital platform was in fact a part and parcel of the PTI’s government in its first 100-day plan. Furthermore, Prime Minister Imran Khan has also showed his interest in bringing back overseas Pakistanis to their motherland so that they can utilize all their potential and talent to improve Pakistan.
