State-of-the-art hospital opened in Hyderabad
[HI]Giving details about the hospital, Dr Farooq Sattar said the MQM, with its Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), built the hospital with Rs100 million from its own funds, without any financial support from the government.

[HI]He said the complex consists of 70 beds, 11 ventilators-cum-incubators, a modern Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a labour room, an advanced operation theatre, state-of-the-art laboratory and blood bank, X-ray facility and other facilities available to the people of Hyderabad for 24 hours.[/HI]
[HI]It is a gift for the people of the interior Sindh from Altaf Hussain Bhai before Eid-ul-Fitr, as parents of premature babies had to call ambulances from Karachi for ventilator facility for their children. He said this is the first drop of rain and the MQM has more plans for providing better health facilities for the countrymen. We will build a medical dental hospital and medical college soon.[/HI]
MQM leader and [HI]chief trustee of Khidmat Khalq Foundation (KKF), Mustafa Kamal said: There is not a single hospital in Hyderabad where ventilators for premature babies are available.[/HI] He said the MQM has opened the hospital following the philosophy and vision of Altaf Hussain, who has proved that distance does not matter. He lives out of the country, but he thinks and works for the welfare of the people of the country.
He told The News that the staff for operating the ventilators had been trained for four months by American experts as untrained nurses cannot operate these machines. The ceremony was attended by MQM leaders, including Ashfaq Ahmad Mangi, Tariq Mir, Amir Khan, Raza Haroon, Dr Sagheer Ahmad, MNAs, MPAs, Shareef Khan, zonal incharge Hyderabad, workers and people from every walk of life.
