Surely Hali had a limited view of Islam and the Islamic world. Such practises are common throughout the Islamic world but his narrow mind was confined to Hindustan. His admirers need to travel throughout the muslim dominated countries and study their history and culture before following his footsteps of criticising with a narrow minded approach and targetting the sufis of Hindustan only.
After this they can have a debate concerning the legality of the practises and I will be honoured to take part and give the sufi version incase they agree for a debate because one sided taunting and not participating in a debate is equivalent to acceptance of the opponents point of view to be superior. Opponents of sufis never participate in debates because they sure know their shops will be closed.

I don't know but some of the people never appreciate...like whatever has stated in this poetry is all true ...now they want to fight why he is discussing only India and not the whole world ..might be he is not aware of that at that time as the information was not very common at that time, media and the method communication is not like as today..there was no technology such as electronic media or internet at that time...... and may be he know also all but n poetry there is a term we used say ISTAARA ...may be poet just used that and just say Hindustan, not the whole world ..... you keep on finding the defects dear ...... as it is one of the easiest thing o do in the world
