Meaning of Word "ALLAH"

Shall any one guide me here about meaning of word "Allah"?

"Muhammad" (Sal Lallah o Aleih Wasala) means "the one who is praised" so does "Allah" mean "the one who is worshiped"?

salam, dear friend the word ALLAH meaning shows His Great wahdaniyatؤحدانیت.
if u divide the word اللہ in single form so, "ا.in arabic its mean wahidؤاحد.
so same as with" ل and" ه their meaning are also as above wahidؤاحد.
so my brothers ALLAH name has its own meaning tells us that HE is Alone and no one is thier who can challange HIM.
pray for me and for ALL muslims, and human beings

I reckon "God" could be translation of Allah into English but not it's meaning while Dividing the name "Allah" into pieces does not seem appropriate as word "Allah" is Mufrid not Murakab, for instance "Jabil e Rahmat" is Murakab so you may divide the words, Jabil being one word and Rahmat being another but Allah is already Singular word so how come you divide the words into alphabets.

Is there any one else who could help me here?
