ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Monday will call on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office to apprise him about governance related matters of the province.

This would be the first meeting between both the leaders, after the prime minister had showed his disappointment on the bill recently passed by the Punjab assembly increasing salary of its lawmakers.

Sources privy to the development said, matters related to the governance and performance of the cabinet will come under the discussion in the meeting.

Last week, Prime Minister Imran Khan had expressed deep disappointment over the decision of Punjab Assembly which had passed a bill increasing salaries and privileges to the provincial lawmakers including chief minister.

This system WILL NEVER DELIVER. 18th AMENDMENT IS A CANCER.
18th amendment is a problem in only those provinces where party in federal govt is not in power. What stopped PTI in appointing competent CMs in both Punjab and KP? Even if IK made mistake 7 months ago, who, apart from his ego, is stopping him to revert his mistake?
Boozdar’s case is very interesting in that the man joins PTI in May 2018 ( after being in PMLN for 5 years) and gets appointed as CM of the largest province in August 2018.

initially, I thought IK appointed a duffer CM so he can run Punjab himself but clearly its not possible

there is no clear majority in Punjab and I agree Buzdar was a mistake. But my rant on 18th amendment is about the greater threat to the federation at a time khatri are openly threatening Pakistan. Things are far more serious than just buzdar.
