Low Number of Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan - A Good or a Bad News?

A low number of cases of Coronavirus is definitely good news for Pakistan.

But one wonders with a large number of people moving between Pakistan and China if it is really the case.

An answer lies in how many people have been tested mostly in areas where a vast number of people were traveling to China.

I know the answer and I hope duffers in Cabinet start an aggressive testing campaign on war-footings before it is too late.

Corona virus grows at an exponential rate which is around 1.15 right now.

So small number of cases can become big number of cases very fast.

Because of how virus spread, 8 cases can turn into 100 in a week and 1000 in a week after that

In pakistan they are only contact tracing like if someone have come from outside they are only testing him or the people infected have contact with they are not looking for comunity spread also remember corona virus is not deadly for everyone one some only feel cold or flu etc so if someone is affected he can spread the virus all over gov is not testing anyone other than the people who have contact with infected or hv come from infected countries
Community spread mean if infected have been found with no contact with infected person and don’t have come from abroad

Gov of pakistan is not looking for community spread and its a big mistake


And please also remember that Washington state found out about the community spread after random testing the patients
