We Muslims are Conservatives.
According to your clarification, you are wrong because there is no space of liberalism in Islam. Islam is a religion of Globe and need people to spread around the globe to each and every human as a duty given to Muslims by Allah, as this duty was given to Prophets (AS) now as Prophet Mohammad pbuh is the last and final Prophet/Messenger of Allah, and now the same duty of spreading Islam is on every Muslim's shoulders.
now important point, that conservatives advice others that follow Islam as its better for them in this world and in here after. Now if a liberal wants to follow the path defined by DEVIL then conservative cannot do anything, just like firoon, hamman, karoon all followed there desires and followed DEVIL so they were ruined by ALLAH, but now in 21 century concepts of firoon etc are twisted to LIBRESIM, Sociolism etc to betray Humans and mislead them. Now we conservatives has a problem because we cannot see you people follow wrong path of destruction and invite others to your path and corrupt our Muslim society as its already destroyed and corrupted in western world. Now please don't import these rubbish concepts from west. Use your brain and think for yourself according to ISLAM.

Alright Sir, let me reiterate that I'm a liberal Muslim Alhumdullilah which means, that i have a Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) available to me and i follow them according to my understanding, and anyone following otherwise is free to follow according to their interpretation. It is very good to spread the message of Allah and only a liberal can do it because liberals believe in spreading their knowledge and understanding but not IMPOSING them on others, which Islam believes in and which Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) believed in. Conservatives rather dislike when some one doesn't follow their interpretation and is the case with Taliban who kill anyone that doesn't agree to their teachings.

If a person wants to follow the devil then yes it is our duty to tell that person what is correct but we cannot impose anything and take criminal and violent actions against him or her, or insult and deplore that person. And their is a way to teach everyone, which is peaceful exchange of knowledge for the purpose of gaining knowledge, and then if some one doesn't agree to it, so be it, that person shall live his or her life and I will live my life. But as I said this debate is for shallow minded people and you proved to be one since the rebuttal you posed right now has nothing to do with what I mentioned. Instead you felt insulted when I said according to my understanding Islam is a liberal religion. Exactly this is what I was talking about, that conservatives do not accept another persons point of view and feel insulted if someone says something different. For me Islam is a liberal religion by definition and my beloved prophet (pbuh) was the most liberal man to ever live again according to definition and not according to what people perceive liberalism now a days.

Therefore first understand the meaning of liberal and conservative and then come and debate. Again no one is imposing any concepts on you and being a liberal isn't western, because when the west was the most barbaric civilization it was Muslims of this world which at that time were known through out the world as the most liberal. And sir liberal is an English word, this doesn't make it a western concept. Again you are free to believe in what ever you wish and same is for me therefore im not imposing anything rather if you'd ask a neutral to read my original post then im sure that person can easily conclude who is trying to impose!

Point 1: You supported your comment by using Taliban scenario, its not logical Mr. Zaidi.
During rule of Talibs in Afghan (1995-2001) they selected one Shia Governor to control Shitte (Ahl-e-Tashi) majority area. Now I don't see your illogical/baseless logic fitting here. You are just repeating the words which Media Memorized you day in and day out. This is the first drawback of liberal ideology brain. Lives Far away from reality and follow blind slave media of West.

Point 2: According to you, conservatives implement their logic on others, but dear, this is the rule on Planet Earth. Welcome to World. Open your eyes. If a thief steals then people in that society (courts, judges, lawyers) will impose their Justice (their logic of Justice as opposed to Thieves logic of Justice) by force (using Police) On Thief as a Plenty.

Now according to your (blindly following baseless ) definition, everybody on earth who struggle for justice will become conservative. You Lost. Kid grow up.

Point 3: You said I am being offended because you said Islam is Liberal. Mr. Zaidi, yes I am offended just like a criminal blames the victim for crime the victim will be offended. You are creating your own wrong concepts and FORCING on others that whatever you say is correct and others are wrong. But again you are going in opposite direction. (nowhere to go, walking blindly)

Point 4: If you are not imposing your wrong ideology of LIberalism which you created in your own backyard and promoting here in posts means a lot Mr. Zaidi. Its called double standards. If you believe in your own build concepts of Liberalism then don't do marketing in Muslim Society.
