Kodi/XBMC Free Media Streaming and Live TV

I recently came to know about Kodi, so thought of posting about it here so it might help someone else to cut the cord and cost of Live tv, specially those living outside Pakistan.


It works in almost all platforms, Android/Windows/Linux/IOS and you can watch movies and live TV free of cost. It can be controlled through physical remote (need Android TV box or IR receiver) or through remote app in Google Play called Yatse (Works like a charm)


It uses different Addons which when installed allows the users to see different channels/media stream, some of the addons are as follows


1) Pak India Live.
Lots of Pakistani and Indian Channels, sports channels and Science channels, Kids channels etc


2) Zem
Pakistani and Indian Channels, sports channels and Science channels Kids channels etc

3) Genesis


Best addon to watch movies. You can find Any movie in this addon from Pakistani to Indian to English.


4) Husham List
Plenty of U.S Channels


5) vdubt25
Plenty of U.S Channels


For howtos please search on google or Youtube. Start your search with an addon called SuperRepo which has address http://srp.nu

Well Kodi itself is a media streaming software. There is no reason to dislike Kodi if you didn't play 1080p videos.

There are lots of channels available which are free and runs on 1080p or 720 in free addon like IPTV Stalker

You can always buy good service in less price.

IPTV is the future and it will take over regular tv very quickly in the coming years.

2) Other way is to install srp.nu https://superrepo.org/get-started/

When you will install srp.nu Pak India Live and other addons will be available by clicking "get more" in Video Addons.

Kodi even support 4K these days...if you are limited by HW capacity then its a different thing.
