Pakistani media is silent on this issue. Every authority in Pakistan is silent liked a fuckkk..ed of nation. Hundreds are dying in Lahore. Media has only one issue..’memogate’ ‘memogate’ ‘memogate’ ‘memogate’ ‘memogate’ ‘memogate’….

Media has no courage to organise a talk show on this issue. No courage to name these medicine or company. Because traders of these medicines have strong political links rather traders are politicians. Some have percentage set in sales of these killer medicines. They don’t care because they will go to Dubai or London for their treatment. They are killers.

It is a public health issue.

Does any one know the name of these substandard medicines?

I just came to know that the names of the medicines were published yesterday....One of the company is owned by PML-N's Hanif Abbassi.
The drugs including Cardiovestin (simvastatin), Alfagril (clopidogrel), Concort (amlodipine), and Soloprin (aspirin)

PIC free medicine: As deaths soar past 80, authorities still clueless
None of the eight different committees constituted by the Punjab government has so far prepared a satisfactory or comprehensive report probing the reasons why the PIC’s free medicine has now claimed over 80 lives. More damage is expected, as the total number of patients who might be at risk after taking free medicine from the hospital is about 46,000.
