Thread starter's comments : I feel sorry for justice Khosa , he is second most senior SC justice and even if he gets well he will not become SC CJ in view of four things ,
1. His health , he looks what doctors call "Blue Bloater" in bad smokers and now his heart problem.
2. His sharif judgement is not in accordance with local practise of law .
3. Alleged non existence of dictionary definition of word "assets" which he used .
4. Large sections of lawyers against him.
I have written about him much before panamagate and told in detail that his judgements as LHC justice on illegal dispossession act 2005 and his judgement on Bail law as SC justice has very very seriously damaged cause of victims of Qabza mafias and continuously supports criminals respectively , assuring them bails if local police does not register crime and complainant is private.
He is well educated with postgraduate degree in law , a rare thing in politically nominated judiciary of Pakistan .
If punjab loses its biggest party PMLN as a result of his doings he is not going to be remembered well in punjab and will not be able to function .
One point to clarify , the justice had two arteries blocked , not valves blocked , people in media wrongly use word valve for arteries in pakistan.
Justice Khosa undergoes angioplasty at PIC Lahore
Supreme Court (SC) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) for treatment on Tuesday.
Justice Khosa was a part of the five-member SC bench that disqualified former prime minister Nawaz Sharif last month. The judge had observed that the prime minister had deliberately suppressed relevant facts, or he had conveniently allowed himself to go along with a false story advanced by his children.
According to reports, the judge was admitted to PIC after he experienced chest pain. The doctors there confirmed to a private TV channel that the judge had suffered a heart attack and would undergo angioplasty.
According to details provided by doctors, two valves of the judge’s heart were blocked which caused the heart attack.
Later, hospital sources suggested that a team headed by Prof Dr Nadeem Hayat Malik and Prof Dr Shahid Ameen carried out the medical process, and now Justice Khosa’s condition was improving.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar visited the PIC to inquire after the senior judge. He remained there for some time, and doctors briefed him about the treatment being provided to Justice Khosa.
Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan also accompanied the CJP.
