Governance is itself better in Azad kashmir because local govt. system still exists in azad kashmir. It's not efficient as it should but it does exist. What happend with load shedding is: Pakistan Govt. owns WAPDA which is working in Azad Jammu region. So, it is not in hands of AJK govt. to control load shedding it entirely depends on PAK govt.

When Manglda DAM was built, it was announced that. Enerygy would be provided free of cost to citizens of Mirpur who sacrificed their houses and land. But, at the moment Energy is more expensive for Mirpuri citizens than any other region in Pakistan.

Mangla DAM currently produces more than 700 Mega Watt Power and Mirpur city only needs 50 Mega Watt power. Being My self as Mirpuri, I would say, current govt is so far better than all previous Govts of AJK. There are almost no law and order situations in Azad Jammu & Kashmir region.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is a self-governing state under Pakistani control but is not constitutionally part of Pakistan.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][16][/SUP] It has its own elected president, prime minister, legislature, high court, and official flag. The government of Pakistan has not yet allowed the state to issue its own postage stamps, however, and Pakistani stamps are used in the state instead. Azad Kashmir has it own Judiciary as well with Khawaja Shahad Ahmad as its present Chief Justice.

Azad Kashmir's financial matters, i.e., budget and tax affairs, are dealt with by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council, rather than by Pakistan's Central Board of Revenue. The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council is a supreme body consisting of 11 members, six from the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and five from the government of Pakistan. Its chairman/chief executive is the president of Pakistan. Other members of the council are the president and the prime minister of Azad Kashmir and a few other AJK ministers.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][16][/SUP]
The state is administratively divided into three divisions which, in turn, are divided into ten districts.

The literacy rate in Azad Kashmir was 62% in 2004, higher than in any other region in Pakistan.[SUP][28][/SUP] However, only 2.2% were graduates, compared to the average of 2.9% for the whole of Pakistan

yes I have never been to mirpur but I know its better managed than the rest of pakistan,I will go there inshah Allah whenever I go back to pak.
another reason for peace could be that target for foreign powers is pak there we have law and order situation there, if you see pindi and islamabad are peaceful too, to me its like they can't really come and play games plus there is no high value personality in AJK, so they won't go there to target anyone.

about the electricity issue, yes its totally unfair, same as it happened with balochistan and some other regions.

Yes, you are right. I wish AJK Govt. make police system and Accountability Bureau independent as they can do it because we have separate departments. But, i know current Govt. won't do it. Therefore, I wish People of Azad Jammu & Kashmir join PTI Azad kashmir and come into power and reform laws in this region as well.
