Thanks for getting me started I am a fan of Neil DeGrassi. I will post his complete video titled " Islamic Golden Age Naming Rights ".

There is not a single word in this video that I can disagree with. He said that there was a Golden age in Islam that lasted nearly 300 years. During that time Bagdad was the center of the world where intellectuals from all over were welcomed Jews, Christians, atheists and people from everywhere to exchange ideas. During that time some of discoveries were made. Than came along Al-Gazali who called mathematics evil and his influence brought an end to the golden age from which Muslims have not recovered yet. He said " INDEPENDENT REASONING WAS REPLACED BY REVELATION " He fast forward to 20 century and showed a bill board by religious body that says " BIG BANG! YOU GOT BE KIDDING" comparing the message to Al-Gazali.

I have only commented on the claim that Machar's video makes that formula of air pressure that provides the lift was an Islamic accomplishment. There was no such formula discovered.
Most of the scientists of the Islamic golden age were free thinkers and I can name Al-Razi who mocked ALL religions
