Is it a good idea to buy house in lahore under overseas pakistani foundation

Hi,

Just wanted a bit of Help as i am considering buying house in Lahore Phase-1 OPS(OVERSEAS PAKISTANI FOUNDATION). DO You guys think its a good idea? why do u think it is 10% expensive for people living in Pakistan non-overseas?

10 Marla for 18 Lakh rupess not bad is it?

Wait a while, KPK situation bhter ho gi with time. Buy a house there, nooroon ne agli dafa bhi Punjab se jeetna hai, is quam ka kuch nai ho skta. Albata KPK will progress with time, buy there.:)

I think it is plot price. for 1 kanal 32 lakh. this is also ops extension. may be good option for very long term investment. please check about the current development there. As far as I know some body told me phase 1 (not extension) which was started in many years back still not developed. if you are confused please make ISTIKHARA.

I think it is not a good time to invest in Pakistan. I am from USA. I bought a plot in khyaban Lahore for investment purposes on instalments. Due to current situation I have stopped any further payments. It is just a pure loss until law and order situation improves in Pakistan. It's all down to our political parties. It seems no one is caring at the moment. So do not throw your money in Pakistan if you are settled abroad. If you have no other choice then matter is different. Money is flying out of Pakistan fast.

Do not invest in Pakistan until and unless security situation and load shedding gets under control. You cannot trust anyone in Pakistan at the moment . If you are overseas pakistani then as a bonus you get special treatment . Your plot is sold multiple times without you having any idea. Unless the pigs ruling the country are eliminated, investment in pak is a big NO

I think this scheme was announced last year, and application deadline was some date in July.
