As against a potential of generating 14,000 MW of power from rivers like Chenab, Jhelam and Sindh, only 2,500 MW is currently being generated in Jammu and Kashmir, Manmohan Singh said.

"Central and state government are trying to harness the remaining potential," he said.

Nahi Jung tau hall nahi hai.. Aik Muslim k khoon kaa aik qatra b nahi bahnaa chhaiye..

Lakin besharmi hai hamari.. Hamari Shehrug say khoon nichor kar logon k ghar roshan kiye jaa rahe hein..

What we doing with the water we are getting at the moment? We are letting this water goes into sea but at least India is using it.

We need water for people and crops and electricity in Pakistan then we will have to save it from wastage.
Do you think saving that water is more important than usage for humans and crops ?
Yar do not you know that there live one hundred and eighty million people in 1000 miles between India and sea ?
Do not think like a banya think like a human being.

We are not building dams, canals and neither any electricity from this water. Our rivers are just o flood people and then all water goes into sea. If we don't want to use it then let other at least use it.
