For those who insist that Pakistan should learn from India because it is better than Pakistan:

First there were riots in Bihar's assembly now in Maharashtra's. Maharashtra's state includes big, developed, advanced, modern and educated cities like Bombay.

Why Raj Thackeray's men slapped Abu Azmi

What has embarrassed an entire country is a matter of great pride for Raj Thackeray's men.

As the new members of the Maharashtra Assembly were being sworn in, Thackeray's men pounced. Their target: Abu Azmi, Samajwadi Party leader. Azmi was pushed and slapped, until security guards
were able to rescue him and escort him out.

Thackeray's gang, and it was that in every sense of the word, proudly said "it's a fitting reply" yo Azmi insisting on taking his oath in Hindi.

According to Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), that's insulting to Marathi pride. Also, their opinion - expressed and enforced with no room for dialogue- is that Hindi is not the national language.

Azmi said, after the attack, "I cannot speak Marathi, so I took the oath in Hindi. I respect Marathi as much as I respect my mother." That logic doesn't hold good with the MNS. "Why couldn't Azmi learn four lines in all these days?'' asks Ram Kadam, one of the MLAs who hit Azmi.

And then came the usual tirade against other states like Bihar and UP. When asked if the violence was demeaning for the Assembly, Shirish Parkar, the MNS spokesperson responded, "Illiterate states like UP have witnessed far murkier scenes. This is for the pride of Maharashtra."

The attack, shameful as it was, was not utterly without warning. In the morning, Raj Thackeray had appealed to MLAs to take their oaths in Marathi, a veiled warning aimed at Azmi, who has repeatedly asked for Hindi to be added to the language of the legislature.

Backed by a unanimous condemnation of the violence, the Speaker has suspended four MNS MLAs for four years: Shishir Shinde from Bhandup West; Ram Kadam from Ghatkopar West; Vasant Geete from Nashik Central; and Ramesh Vanzale from Kahdakvasla. But the MNS remains unrepentant, satisfied that the violent politics of chauvinism has planted the party in the news again.

--If not anything else, atleast get the verse right  ..Knock,knock..First and foremost lesson "No pick 'n' choose" and "No Omissions" :D

18:56 We only send the apostles to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!

18:57 And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.

--Bold part that you for no reason omitted

--Ordinary idiots fake things. Sophisticated idiots fabricate things :)..I wonder then science could and would never ever be your ground since it requires "Basic Concepts of any theory" to be understood in it's entirety, and you've been pretty miserable and disoriented at the most common idea and logic known to mankind :D

I bet you could not wait to post this article here with a sarcastic subject line. I pity you, somebody who has not seen democracy for ages in his country is talking about democracy of an other country. You sound more of a sadist to me.

Nobody is appreciating this act of violence and i can guarantee even the people who voted for these MLA's won't approve of their act. Good, they deserved the correct punishment of being suspended for 4 years. What will they do now, if they can't raise the voice or take part in any of the house proceeding for the very same people who elected them.

But all the above, we dont need any lesson from Pakistan especially on democracy. You can mind your own business.

We are still 100 times better than Pakistan.

I am a Pakistani and I think we should try to learn the good points of everyone rather then talking about stuff like this and increasing hatred amongst the two rivals even more. I think we have better things to look upon within our country. Media creates trouble between us both countries otherwise we are the same people. Look what is media doing to us within our country. In THE NATION and DAWN METROPOLITAN they write that the Islamabad encounter on 8 November done by police security was fake. Without any evidence the media makes us believe what they want!! I think this is rubbish also India Pakistan hatred is all because of the media and politicians and nothing else.

We dont have incidents like this taking place in our country. This is mainly because the majority of our population is either middle class or lower class. This majority is very tolerant and of curse liberalists. They just work hard in their professions to earn a living. They just need the right medium to be exposed I believe cuz unimaginable talent exits in our country which is seeking exposure.
