Aur agar kabhi kisi unit office gaye nahi MQM kay, pta nahi kya hota hai wahan, to apna mun kholna zaruri hai? Saaf andaza hota hai kitna ilm hai Karachi ka aur MQM ka aap ko.

It would surprise you but in Karachi Zardari does have public support. You can see everywhere the graffiti , aman ya jang, zardari kay sang and Aik Zardari sub pe bhari
I never denied Imran Khan not having public support, we all saw the dharna in Karachi. But it is no Tsunami

This is true. From Peshawar dharna, to Islamabad, Gujranwala, Karachi, everywhere Imran Khan is always without any bullet-proof arrangement. I pray for his safety always. He is a brave brave brave man.

bhai if he can have that support in karachii..then think about the support he has in punjab...you wont believe when we say things are changing big time..
in my family..we were hard core PPP supporters..now most of my family is with PTI..people from lower grade till higher..are PTI..before 2008..they all voted for PPP..
Mohajir friends of mine..they dont like MQM very much..but they doo have soft corner for them.,.but MQM needs to stop politics of violence..
Mqm has some good people..but their leader and this militants are ruining mohajir name..they dont represent mohajirs at all..mohajirs are not violent people
i dunno how to explain..inshAllah u will see next election..

I do not know about changing political loyalties in Punjab and elsewhere but if you say it, it has to be true. Good for you friend, better PTI than PPP. We saw the number of people in Faisalabad and I was very surprised by it.
But I do know Sindh and believe me when I say Imran Khan will get nothing from here.
All will be revealed next election.:)

I actually know people, who were forced to come into the jalsas, who were forced to handover khaals to Mqm, who were forced to pay for even whole books of the fitray ki parchian!
Of course you do. Somehow everyone who is even remotely connected to Karachi knows someone who is forced to pay bhatta, khaals to MQM, yet refuses to acknowledge which party majority of Karachiites vote for. Some go to such huge lengths to deny MQM has any support whatsoever in Karachi and think that somehow MQM holds an entire city of 15 million hostage. I really dont know what to say to these people. MQM is doing something with a few thousand members that the Army would find impossible to do with a few hundred thousand.
My advise to you is go attend a MQM jalsa, even a small unit one. Stop listening to your PTI buddies. The only reason they join PTI is to vent their frustrations in life against MQM. I attended the PTI jalsa here a few month back because I wanted to know what kind of people attended it.

I am saying I personally know these people! and these things happen in front of my own eyes dude! In my vicinity, these bhatta khors actually killed a Pathan thele-wala when he refused to pay bhatta. You think these things are fake? Get a life dude! The people belonging to the Mqm units are considered to be the thugs of the area, and during a fight, their references are normally used to win a fight! Yes, I agree with you that people do adore Altaf bhai in some areas, but only for his struggle for the people at the time of creation of Mqm.
I am believing you don't live in Karachi, as you are supposing that election votes reflect Mqm's popularity! That has to be the biggest joke. I know friends, who were playing cricket during the election day and were ordered to come to the polling stations to cast thousand of bogus votes. I know people who were the incharges of the polling stations but were forced to merely watch the whole process of rigging!
Course I live here, have you ever been to any election booth on election day? Simple question... You make allegations, everyone makes allegations yet when they need help they are the first to beg for MQMs help. Your own PTI leadership in Karachi is shining example. You even know what deal your pure innocent party and struck up with these terrorist, bhattakhors as you call them and how they have begged for MQMs help? I could show you 12 people killed by ANP and Lyari gangsters. My 3 friends were kidnapped from Baldia. 2 were later found in boris.
We ourselves pay bhatta to Peoples Party from our shop in Saddar. No one from MQM ever has demanded bhatta from us. And we have been living in Karachi since I was born 25 years ago. We dont give Fitra to MQM and they dont ask twice. The Special Branch report presented to Supreme Court contains the names of 200 bhattakhors, over a 100 belong to PPP, under 20 belong to MQM.
As far as your allegation of rigging goes, go to a polling station on polling day see for yourself who is voting for MQM. Millions turned out to vote, I saw it myself. EU observers in polling stations across Karachi on election day 2008 though do say there were isolated cases of violence and fake votes cast, do not dispute the election result on any seat.
What is even funnier is people denying MQMs mandate in Karachi but then saying PTI will win from here.
