Demand supply: Grand jirga on Saturday to discuss gas shortage, unemployment
A grand jirga will be held at Circuit House Karak on Saturday to discuss pressing issues of low gas supply and an oil refinery in Karapa.
The jirga will be convened by elders of the Qaumi Loya Jirga and aims to chalk out a strategy to implement the residents’ six-point agenda.
Elected officials and residents have been invited to participate. Employment opportunities, increase of gas royalty by 30% as per Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman’s announcement and providing gas in Bahadur Khel and Nari Panos are part of the agenda.

Residents of Gulbahar Colony, Rajjar and Angar Korona gathered to protest against the low pressure of gas supply on Tuesday. They caused a traffic jam by blocking the Nowshera-Charsadda Road for more than an hour.
While talking to protesters in Rajjar, Ashraf Khan, an elder, said they had been having issues with low gas pressure all month despite multiple appeals to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) officials in Charsadda. This is why we are being forced to block the road, he added.
Khan said MPAs and district government officials have forgotten about the residents after getting their votes. “Out of the 24 hours in a day, we only get gas for one hour in which we try to cook our food,” he said. “If we try to use the gas for anything else, the pressure is really low. We are forced to buy wood for cooking and still end up paying thousands at the end of the month.” He added the government should take action and do something, otherwise they will have to face the consequences along with the SNGPL.
Khan warned that if nothing was done to solve their problems in three days, residents of Charsadda will organise a massive protest against SNGPL officials and the government.

جی جی وزیرستان والوں کے سوگ میں پیپلز پارٹی نے اپنے پانچ سالہ دور اقتدار میں شادیوں پر مکمل پابندی عائد کر رکھی تھی ، ہیں نا ؟

ایک بھی معصوم شخص کی ہلاکت نہیں ہوئی
پھر یہ آپ نے شادیوں اور ولیموں پر پابندی کس سوگ میں لگائی تھی پورے پانچ سال ؟
