Ive said this many times before as well...but Patwaris are a rare breed. Even Shami couldnt mask the truth for them.
According to PPP, IK's father was fired for corruption by Bhutto. In reality, IK's father resigned from his govt job back in 1960, when Bhutto was in political diapers. He opened his own company, republic engineering, which is still functional today, though it has been sold.

During 70's, 80's and early 90's, when Niazi sahib was leading the team, Republic Engineering was among the leading consultant firms of Pakistan - competing with Nespak at that time however Nespak was government's own consultant firm so it progressed.
Further he was a very competent and accomplished engineer. Civil engineering community takes pride in engineers like him.
