اعلیٰ سے ادنیٰ تک…تعلیم یافتہ سے جاہل تک …متمول سے مفلس تک …ڈرائنگ روم سے تھڑے تک اور چھوٹے سے لے کر بڑے تک مدتوں سے سنتے آرہے ہیں کہ ہماری قیادتیں کرپٹ ہوتی ہیں۔ ہمارے سیاسی حکمرانوں سے لے کر غیر سیاسی حکمرانوں تک ہر کسی کے درمیان کوئی اکلوتی قدر مشترک ہے تو کرپشن جس کے واٹر پروف حمام میں سب ننگے ہیں اور ان کی عریانی اس حقیقت کا زندہ ثبوت ہے کہ گو انگلیاں مختلف سائز کی ہوتی ہیں لیکن” کھاتے“ وقت سب ایک جیسی ہوجاتی ہیں۔ مختصراً یہ کہ ہماری 63سالہ تاریخ میں اگر کسی بات پر اتفاق رائے پایا جاتا ہے تو صرف حکمرانوں کی کرپشن پر۔

تاریخ اور زمانے صرف دو قسم کی سیاست کو جانتے ہیں۔ تیسری کوئی قسم ہے ہی نہیں۔ ایک مصلحت انگیزی کی سیاست ہوتی ہے اور دوسری جدلیاتی یعنی تبدیلی کی سیاست ہوتی ہے۔ مصلحت انگیزی کی سیاست بنیاد ی طورپر رائج الوقت نظام کو قائم ودائم رکھنے کی سیاست ہوتی ہے۔ چونکہ ہر سیاسی کو فلسفہ آخری تجزیے میں مختلف مفادات کی ترجمانی کرتا ہے اس لئے مصلحت انگیزی کی سیاست ان کی سیاست ہوتی ہے جو موجود ہ معاشی اور اقتصادی نظام میں بالادست سماجی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں جنکی زندگیاں سہل ہیں‘ ان کے شب و روزرعنائیوں سے بھرے ہوتے ہیں اور جن کی زندگی کی آسائیشوں تک آسانی سے رسائی ہوتی ہے۔ جبکہ جدل یا تبدےلی کی سیاست ایسے افراد کی ترجمانی کرتی ہے جن کے مفادات اس نظام میں مجروح ہیں جن کی زندگیاں عذابوں میں گھری ہوئی ہیں اور جن کے اوقات بہت تلخ ہیں۔
Pakistan of today is beset by grave challenges. We live in a Pakistan where life has become cheaper and expendable, where law is selective and easily manipulated and where bitter realities eclipse any idealistic notions. Often, duplicitous and hypocritical behavior marks day-to-day actions and interactions in society. Tolerance is on the wane and extremism is thriving.
We yearn for a Pakistan, where smaller provinces get equal rights so that any community does not feeling of deprivation or injustice which causes a major dent to our national integrity. We envision democracy at grass root level and it is believed for a real and meaningful democratic culture to evolve in Pakistan, we need to get rid of the current feudal based democratic system. Representatives have to be from the people and of the people, rather than the rich ruling elite.
We envisage a harmonious, classless, discrimination & exploitation-free egalitarian society and wish to see a self-reliant Pakistan where social justice prevails, where equal economic opportunities are provided to all, and where security for the lives and properties of Pakistani citizens is ensured.
Dear Pakistanis
It’s time to say enough is enough, get up, take charge, and play our role… the role of a concerned, informed and engaged citizen.
Why must we live in continuous fear? As third class citizens in our own motherland? Why must we pay through our blood for basic amenities that we don’t even fully get? Pakistan, a land of bountiful resources, with agriculture as our mainstay and industry our growing limbs. A beautiful country rich in minerals, brains and diversity. Why then must we, the people of Pakistan, always settle for less? Why be bullied? Why compromise?
We’ve had enough of defeatists, apologists and pessimists. Time for Pakistanis to rise.
It is time for us to break the chains of slavery, to rise to the challenges, to compete against the nations, to eliminate poverty, to fight those who terrorize our lands, to avenge those who have taken what is rightfully ours, to fight the oppressors, to shout the truth from the mountains till all can hear it, accept it, believe it, follow it.
