How to use these Sony Headphones on my Samsung Galaxy S8 successfully?

I bought these Sony Headphones from ebay a week ago with the purpose of recording certain phone conversations on a needed basis.

Even though I am inserting it into my phone socket, it is not recording conversations at all Have even bought a splitter with a microphone socket but that hasn't worked either.

Will appreciate a tech genius helping me out here

Why one need headphone specially for recording?
Just use the free recording apps and done.
You can record them while listening with any ear plugs or headphone

Why you wasting money, just download voice recording app from play store and it is free. It has capability to record calls as well

but here question is do these voice recording apps record all sort of calls, i have doubt regarding these internet based calls i.e. whatsapp, viber, messenger etc

Whatsapp and viber have extra layer of encryption but there are ways.

bhai i tried it with different premium and top rated apps but internet/voip calls seems not recordable and then some/most of gulf countries where we been moving around for work has serious consequences for call recording & vpn. So never able to crack some solution with all permission and configuration

I can suggest VPN which works even against great firewall of china, gulf encryption is nothing as compared to chinese wall.

my point of mentioned a little brief is probably b/c of vpn voip calls are not recordable. However during my stay in pakistan tried to record voip calls without vpn but it didn't work. Which app ur using for call recording???

You are correct, they will not record Internet based calls like whatapp as the mic of phone gets busy so it is not available for recording, but you can put your phone on speaker and record it to another mobile device or laptop through voice recording.
