In my view, PCB does not need a cricketer to run its affairs...It needs a proper business executive who understands how an Organization is run.

As team selection is just one part of PCB...its major activities do involve, tours and fixtures management, Grounds management, Scouting, training health and fitness management, legal disputes, Financial Matters, and many others......a cricketer can only do team selection but for other matters, we need a proper business Manager.........I would definately hire a cricketer to run the operations but operations department is just one aspect of the whole organogram.

Same is the Case with Hospitals, they are in despair because we always hire a senior doctor to run its affairs, I would definately hire a Doctor to run operation for for other matters, i do need a qualified business manager.

In yesterday's interview to Kashif Abbasi, Imran Khan has suggested name of Ehsan Mani to be PCB Chairman.

In my view, PCB does not need a cricketer to run its affairs...It needs a proper business executive who understands how an Organization is run.

Keeping all my reservation aside, which I have with Ik, but Ehsan Mani is a good choice, he has ICC experience and knows how a board and other cricketing affairs should be run.

Well ICC is not fool by appointing its head....it shows he has talent to run serious affairs....better use it...
