I was reading an article in Time Magazine regarding the production and export of Milk products from India.

Can we pakistanis learn something from our neibours and adapt the same stretegy as done by India to boost the production of Milk.

"Almost every busy neighborhood market in New Delhi has one: the trademark blue Mother Dairy stand, where rickshaw drivers and housewives fresh from the salon stop in for a plastic bag of full-cream milk, a strawberry lassi or a pack of ghee, the clarified butter used in Indian cooking. A generation ago, the land where the cow is sacred had a scarcity of milk, but since 1970, India's milk production has risen from 22 million tons to more than 132 million today, making it the world's largest producer and a dairy exporter. How India went from paucity to plenty is one..."

"Amrita Patel is responsible for much of that..."

If Pakistan is 10 times smaller than India then it should produce at least 1/10th of Indian Milk production, i.e. 12,150 million tons. Since it is not the case hence Pakistan is not even in the top 10 list.

Here is another report that is showing Pakistan on 4th, And let me correct some facts, Pakistan is 1/8th size of India , while population is 1/6 of India. While according to this report Pakistan Milk production is 1/3rd of India, means it is producing more milk per area than India.See below.

4. Fourth is Pakistan with an estimated annually milk production of 34 million tonnes. While this is only a third of Indias milk production, Pakistans population is less than 1/6 the size of Indias! Pakistan has seen a steep rise in milk production over the past few years as many large dairy farms have been established.

And check also below from another site.

I still wonder why some websites are showing facts other than the facts shown in the above links?
