Fuel prices likely to be increased from March 1

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Petroleum on Friday said that the petroleum prices are likely to be raised from March 1, 2013 across the country.


According to the ministry, the prices of diesel and petrol would be raised upto Rs 3 and 2.80 respectively while the price of light diesel would be hiked upto Rs2.40.

The prices of Kerosene oil and High Octane would also be raised upto Rs 2 and 3.5.

It's unfortunate for us. Due to geopolitical issue OPEC oil prices have gone up. And our import bill in dollars just went up.
