For your kind information there is a difference between Finincal / Technical Aid and charity.
Pakistan for the last many years is getting Charity money not Aid. Same goes for Arab countries.
As for Remittance, Trust me, Just turn your face towards Iran, see how they are been crippled with all there wealth and Remittances.
NO one is buying there oil, Iranian outside the country cant send money. International Banking is near Zero.

The same Sanctions were imposed (by all developed countries) after Atomic Blasts as well, if I could remind you but Pakistan survived. It is just a myth that Pakistan can't survive without US aid and the creator of such myth are the liberal fascists like Najam Shethi etc.

I am not saying that Pakistan needs to depend on USAID. All I am saying is, keep your hopes a bit realistic. And IK honestly doesnt have a clue about Economics and Financial Markets.

A huge part of this foriegn remittence is money laundering, as the foriegn remittence are not taxed so the figures u mentioned above are bloated with black money so it is not very reliable, Ik has Asad Umar in his team who knows a thing or two so don't worry anti-american stance is just a gimmick for election. China/US is a classical example where political stance and economical interests makes them strange bedfellows

Now this a new one, charity would imply that they don't have to payback and it is interest free, i rather come back to pakistan as it is running on Charity and no need to work anymore as somebody else is going to pay the bills. Thanks Hans from the moon
I have scrutinize the Remittance numbers and I feel this black money issue is hyped. I am not denying its existence, but the figures are a non-issue. Here's the summary I wrote on this issue

Now to your other issue. What I am saying is you DO NOT NEED FOREIGN RESERVES. Period! You dont need the dollar. You dont need the EURO. If Pakistan runs a trade deficit, the rupee will depreciate and the imports will get expensive till people stop buying imports. When Pakistan runs a surplus, Rupee appreciates and imports get cheaper. Here's my article covering this BoP policy.
