Need to streamline the processes
bring into tax net traders wholesalers particularly of central punjab kpk etc who are paying zilch tax according to a study
The greater resistance will be from this segment who are supporters of noon league for this very reason

telenor license renewal
5G auction
statebank profits
privatization

All these heads together will generate around RS 500 billion. This means FBR target is actually Rs 5000 billion now instead of the initial target of Rs 5500 billion.

The Rs1.28-trillion collection was 16% or Rs176-billion higher than the previous year but was largely the result of blocking exporters’ refunds and taking advances from big firms. Had the FBR cleared all the sales tax refunds of exporters and not taken advances, its collection would have further dipped to below Rs1.15 trillion.

All these comes under "other income" head. These are not taxes and we should not be mixed them with taxes.

Well if this is true then i assume FBR is lying to IMF & cat should be out of the bag very soon. whats your source of this info i.e. real tax collected will come down to Rs1.15 trillion etc.?

Well done, hopefully the CAD will be brought to zero so that Pakistan doesn't have to borrow and have less burden on the public in the future years. I wish that the previous government's didn't loot the country and had led Pakistan's growth through it's own resources rather than debt based economy.
