Mere bhai my question is simple. The links you posted to websites are not reliable. They were created by people who wrote them without any proof. You have a responsibilty to provide reliable sources for links you post here. Not made up stories. Bhatta is a scourge of Karachi, we all condemn it, but I do not belive MQM is responsible for any of it, for the simple reason I have lived in Karachi all my life, my family have done business here as have all the people I know and none have ever been approached for Bhatta by MQM. Though we have paid bhatta to other groups. But this does not mean that certain people using MQMs name do not take Bhatta, I will not deny that, I know some do and I condemn them.
Yes MQM was with Musharraf and they are with PPP now. However MQM did not have an easy ride with Musharraf and they had their disagreements with each other but now MQM do not condemn Musharraf as a President, they condemn some of the things he did like Akbar Bugtis murder which they did when they were in government with Musharraf. If you remember they almost quit the government then and only relented when Musharraf offered to hold an impartial inquiry into the matter. Unlike PML-Q they have not turned on Musharraf.
Forming a government with any party does not mean you condone every little thing they do because the majority party takes most decisions without consulting junior coalition partners, so how can you be responsible? MQM is a small party and does not have that much power even being in government. MQM will only be responsible for the government decision if it is consulted and agrees or if it has the power then and only then can it be held responsible. You cannot be held responsible if you do not have the power to do anything
It is not a question of condoning it also is the question of honor and honesty, if u become part of a dictator u do condone every thing he does or else u should have the courage to leave, but u stayed for money and rewards as did maulana sahib and who as rewarded BIG lands. dictator did a great damage to Pakistasn by joining the allies, he could said hay we earned 6 million refugees and thousand dead and this time we do not want to get involved, look at India they did not get involved and they are getting paid big for doing nothing.
I have asked all of you who are MQMers, to tell us who is doing the killing and for what reason, and I also ask you this that MQM is very established party in Karachi and you telling me that you do not know who is killing all these innocent people is unbelievable.
You tell me that Bhata is a scourge in Karachi and you being the biggest party cannot tell who is behind it, than my friend you cannot be the leader in Karachi if you are unable to know and stop these terrible killings.
Killing of Akbar bhugti was another horrible deed, and to kill a leader who was at times a leader of GOP is unbelievable and dumb. Negotiation is the only smart way to deal with leaders who you think are not patriotic.
But than no one is able to convince our people that any Leaders has been smart. look at the speech delivered by your leader Jenab ltaf sahib in India. I am not only unhappy about what he said, I am also thinking that it was very anti Pakistan as he denied the existence of Pakistan and was asking Hindus in India to forgive Pakistan. I feel embressed fo what he said.
