Expensive phone calls : One and a half billion received from overseas Pakistanis - Government did no

Here is the proof, what i mentioned in my last thread. This all is from Etisalat (PTCL). 50% money is going to Etisalat (PTCL). See Dunya News Story below, i request to my all overseas brother to follow up this issue please. Thanks

As per dunya news story, there is no hope to reduce the international calling up to 3 months. I think this is all from PTCL & UFONE. Because Ptcl is under Etisalat Management(Dubai Based Company). May b you all saw a commercial belong to UFONE. They reduce the price as 3 Rupees per minute to gulf region & now Etisalat will earn money. This is my opinion.

I feel sorry for peopl who donot know the things and would come on this forum and star talking non sense, PTCL was acquired by Etisalat on th highest Bid of 2.598 Billion USD.

So now you talk sense, Coz in yuor previous comment you wrote that it was sold free of charge. This is the problem with us in general that our people are in habit of giving the sweeping statements without knowing the impact. So how many instalments have been paid ? and how many left ?

Woudl appreciate before commenting on something atleast google the information.

Relax. Talk less :) what can I say, its a legal way to rob us. The courts should not be interfering into this kind of matters unless its basic human right violation or in contradiction with the religion.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Here is the tip(which I use) to deal with crooks.

I have stoped calling Pakistan. I have asked my family to call me which is very cheap (It works out around 1p a minute to UK). Instead of toping up my account for international calls, I toped up their phone for same amount of money(now there are several ways to send credit from abroad).
I hope if everyone start doing this it will fail Govt plan to make a money from overseas Pakistanis.
In a protest I have stoped sending money thrugh Bank. Anyone goes to Pakistan I send money thrugh them and getting better rate from money changers.
Why should we think about our Govt if they have deciced not to thing about overseas PAkistani's prblems?

some alternates means are available though. I use Lebara to call landlines and voipgain to call Mobiles so its still manageable!
