the EVM will count the number of votes that are punched in it. If the number of ballots in the voter box dont tally with the number on the EVM, they will be individually matched. The flimsy barcode will be the odd 'man' out.

Am not saying its fool proof. But its a step in the right direction.

Some other security features can be included. for example paper used for printing can contain security features. don't forget that immediately after the closing of election, results are required to submit without delay which will reduce the chance of any mischief. The point is that it's a right step in the ultimate direction of conducting fair and free elections. Improvements are always there

If EVM can be easily manipulated then Election commission ECP has accepted this machine immediately, Oppsition given permission to go ahead with law change.

The problem is the machine is built with the mentality of the corrupt practices.

Ballots with stamps after votting hours will be finished now.

Oh my dear, I think you just know about "L" and nothing about the technology. And do not know what is followed.
you need a full fledge mechanism to verify the vote. and that can be done at the election commission.
The Printing device which is being used for this demo machine is a heat printer and the wait can be easily destroyed by just exposure to heat. Secondly, you might have observed with the ATM receipts that the printing is gone in a month so by the time of recounting is approved, half of the votes are not identifiable.
The printing part is totally Bull***t.

The no. of votes casted are in the hands of the Presiding officer. how often he presses the button a vote can be cast.
There have never been more than 60% turn over so they have a big margin. So the argument about the limited vote cast is useless here.


I am in favour of EVMs. There is So much secure ways to that.
you just need a kind of biomatrix machine which you use for purchasing sim.
Only thing you have to make it secure is by adding full encrypted data of each "poling station". including ID scanner and thumb scanner.
