Other then human rights everything else is for sale in Dubai. Pity these Sheikhs never help their oppressed, terrorised and raped Arab brethren in Iraq, Palestine, Yemen and Syria. Dubai is nothing but the rich man's playground. I am not remotely envious yet can see the massive attraction some people have towards it.

I Much prefer the west where human beings are treated equally, labourers in the UAE would crawl to live in Europe, Canada and the US as for them Dubai is nothing short of hell on earth.

Dubai is like a ladu that after putting in your mouth you realise it's not sweet! It's a playground for the wealthy where the downtrodden are open slaves owned by the elite who also confiscate their passports paying them pittance for working like a donkey. Dubai is like a prostitute who will do anything to make money.

Women from all over the world openly do this "business" that is "illegal" in Islamic Dubai:lol::lol:. Being a man of conscience I will never work or stay in such a hypocritical, cruel and most of all sheer racist society.

I can't walk by million's of labourers who are treated like $hit!(serious)

prices are already over the 2008 bubble-pop level and the impact of the 2020 expo is yet to come next month.
massive bubble again as it is unthinkable that the whole economy of just one of the affected countries has suddenly been fixed in six months.
this place is for the strong hearted gamblers so make your call accordingly as though the supply doubled and demand remained the same......prices doubled too somehow so its your call.

Traveled around the world (US, Europe .....) on Green Passport, only at UAE airports I felt country of Passport matters.

You nailed it.

@naveed

It seems to me that UAE is still a decent market (as I compared it with Canada and Pakistan). What you have to make sure is that you "control" the things.
e.g. some emirates allow you to buy property BUT you can never be the complete owner of it (i.e. reduced control). Whereas, if you were to run say a KFC franchise, they may charge you several fees but at least at the end of the day, you have all the strings.
This is my take on this which I got from those who have been here for several decades. I moved here 3 years ago and YET to invest.

i live and work in dubai ....

cant hate local arabs as due to their government policies this city became one of the most attractive for south asian professionals , also "jis thaali me khaata hun usi me ched kerna acha nahi lagta mujhe".....

jisko UAE me rehte hoe , UAE me reh ke kamate hoe yahan ke arab ya shaikho se kuch masle masail hen to bhai wapis chale jao apne apne mulk..... kun reh rahe ho yahan ...
aur agar reh rahe ho to be-ghairat na bno..... ku-tta bhi agar kisi ke hath se haddi kha leta he to usey izzat dene lagta he....

...................

Now As far as investment in concerned :

Yes i was also , in fact i am still very much interested for this investment.
Just taking my time to have a look on things...

I have lived 5-6 years in europe , 2 years in Africa .... traveled around almost whole world ( except south america )
and for dubai , its still my 7th month....so taking time to check things which sector is more profitable and "stable"....

- I totally agree with you on this. I have seen people criticizing "locals" yet when they deal, they do EXACTLY the same.
- I also noticed that desis (or generally every one) tends to complain a lot in Dubai for things that are not even relevant for them..... bila wajhay kay keeray nikaltay hain. When I compare Dubai to Canada, materialistically speaking ( i.e. apart from the fact that my friends, relatives etc is in Canada) the only thing I dislike here is traffic.
