Don't Question Nawaz Sharif's Patriotism but Can't Deny Facts Either

Nawaz Sharif was a creation of the Pakistani army, but he was always critical of those who didn’t support his dynasty, the army in particular. He has expressed his views in many TV interviews and Dawn leaks were nothing but a plot to size the army by him and his daughter.

The man didn't have any intellect to have a foreign minister during his last tenure of five years to project interests of Pakistan on the world forum. During that time, the world almost forgot that Pakistan even exists. Even foreign ministers of tiny countries like UAE started saying chosen words for Pakistan.

He would go to the UK and find no one to receive him at the airport and things were not different in Saudi Arabia either. He went to China and sat across their president. He couldn’t start a conversation. Then Shebaz Sharif said that “Chinese and Pakistani friendship is sweeter than honey” and then Nawaz Sharif repeated those words. He met with Barak O’Bama but couldn’t say anything without notes that he was clinching in his hands. I wonder how he could have sat across Mr. Obama and pleaded Pakistan's case?

And then he started going on long overseas trips at the expenditure of Pakistani taxpayers. No one knew exactly what he did for Pakistan during those trips. But when he returned there used to big headlines in Pakistani press as if he has conquered the world.

A lot is said about his diplomacy with India. But if Modi showed up at his birthday party or at his grand daughter’s wedding then it has nothing to do with Pakistan. It was all personal. India wanted to have a man like him in Pakistan as it knew he wouldn’t tow an anti-Indian line from Pakistan. His Indian buddies would come to Pakistan without any one's knowledge or visa. One really wonders what behind the scene diplomacy was going on as nothing positive ever came out. And that begs the question if it was all personal.

In last few years, India has stated ethnic cleansing in Kashmir – same as what Israel is doing to Palestinians. He nor his installed Kashmir Committee Chairman, Fazul ur Rehman, ever came out and talked about rights of Kashmir’s nor they told the world about Indian atrocities - using rubber bullets to blind innocent protesters.

An Indian agent, Kulbhushan Jadhave was captured on Pakistani soil and since he held the portfolio of Foreign Minter to himself, Nawaz Sharif should have told the world about this spy. But he never uttered a single word against him. Why? To appease India?

In fact, in the last few weeks at the World Court, Nawaz Sharif’s statements are being cited by Kulbhushan’s attorneys for his defense. Strange, very strange.

There are many in Pakistan who profess their loyalty while they are in power. And Nawaz Sharif is no exception. He as well as his piglet’s loyalty is to the money they looted from Pakistan and stashed at countries around the world.

While he was in power, his children used Pakistani planes, services, and resources for their personal use but when Pakistani courts asked them to appear and explain how all these minor children became billionaires with no known accomplishment then they ditched Pakistan just to save their ill-gotten wealth. If Pakistan comes first then Nawaz Sharif should have forced his children to return to Pakistan and surrender the loot. But he didn't.

All day long, Pakistani politicians talk about their patriotism but they can’t back up that claim by their actions.

Don't Question Nawaz Sharif's Patriotism

Then you must be the only one, because the rest of us know for a fact he is a traitor

For Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan is a country where you make money and then take it abroad. He never let silly things like patriotism get in the way of his money-making goal, and was quite happy to malign Pakistan for his personal greed.

Both Nawaz and Zardari clans and their cronies looted Pakistan as if there will be no tomorrow. Everyone knows their nefarious actions have brought the country to its knees, but the sad part of the story is --- there are still large bunch of people backing them.
What a shame!
