---In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

181- Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Tast ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!

182- "This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him."

183- They (also) said: "(Allah) took our promise not to believe in an apostle unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven)." Say: There came to you apostles before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?"

184- Then if they reject thee, so were rejected apostles before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

185- Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

186- Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against-evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.

187- And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it kown and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made!

188- Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed.

189- To Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and Allah hath power over all things.

190- Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-

191- Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

192- "Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!

193- "Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

194- "Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise."

195- And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

196- Let not the strutting about of the Unbelievers through the land deceive thee:

197- Little is for enjoyment: Their ultimate abode is Hell: what an evil bed (To lie on)!

198- On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever), - a gift from the presence of Allah. and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous.

199- And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humanity to Allah. They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.

200- O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strenghthen each other; and fear Allah. that ye may prosper.

Subhan-Allah, May Allah Help us become those whom Allah has blessings upon. Ameen.

3:181 Surely, God has heard the utterance of those who said, "Indeed, God is poor while we are rich!" We will record what they say, just as their slaying of the prophets against all right. And We shall say, "Taste the torment of burning! [Most of the first followers of all messengers have been the indigent 11:27]

3:182 This, for what your own hands have sent forth. For, God is never a tyrant over His servants.

3:183 It is they (the Children of Israel) who assert, Indeed, God has taken a promise from us that we shall not believe in any Messenger unless he shows us an offering burnt by fire. (Animal sacrifice that a fire from the heavens would consume). Say, messengers before me came to you with self-evident Truth, and as you assert, (showed a burnt sacrifice). Why, then, did you slay them, if you are truthful? [I Thessalonians ii, 15 / Mathew xxiii, 37]

3:184 Now, if they deny you (O Messenger), so were denied messengers before you when they came with clear evidence of the Truth, and with books of Divine Wisdom, and the Light giving Revelation.

3:185 (You may get some passing delight in denial, but) every living being is bound to taste death. And you will receive your recompense in full on the Day of Resurrection. Then whoever is drawn away from the Fire, and gets admitted to the Garden, will have indeed gained supreme triumph. (He who considers it the end in itself should know that for him) the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-deception. [The real success entails striving for both Worlds 2:201, 10:63-64, 14:27, 28:77]

3:186 You will certainly go through changes of fortune in your wealth and persons. And you will hear much that is hurtful from those who were given the Scripture before you, and from the idolaters and those who wish to impose manmade systems. But if you remain steadfast and continue to live upright, this, behold, will be a matter that will strengthen your resolve. [2:155]

3:187 And behold, God accepted a solemn pledge from those who had received the Scripture, Make it clearly known to people, and never conceal it! But they flung it behind their backs, and traded it away for a little gain. Then, how evil was the bargain they made! [2:16]

3:188 Do not think that those who exult in their works, and love to be praised for what they have not done - Never think that they can escape chastisement. For, grievous suffering does await them.

3:189 Unto God belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And God, having Power over all things and events, has appointed Laws in due measure. [10:4, 34:3-4, 53:31]

3:190 Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men and women who use their understanding.

3:191 (Such men and women of understanding keep reflecting upon how Gods Laws operate in the Universe.) Standing, sitting, and reclining, they reflect upon the wonders of creation in the heavens and the earth, saying, "Our Lord! You have not created all this without Purpose. Glory to You! (High Above You are from creating anything in vain.) Save us, then, from (being negligent in attaining knowledge and thus from) the doom of the Fire.
[When humans harness the forces of Nature and use them for the common good of all, they move away from Hell, rightfully hoping to achieve Paradise in both lives. 13:17, 45:13-14]

3:192 (Reflecting on the Universe and upon their own role on the Planet, such people work for the betterment of humanity 13:17. They say), Our Lord! Any individuals and nations whom You admit into the Fire, You have brought them low (for failing to harness the forces of Nature)." There are no helpers for those who displace knowledge with conjecture and thus wrong themselves. [Zaalimeen translated according to the context]

3:193 "Our Lord! We have heard a caller calling to Faith, Believe in your Lord! So we have believed. Our Lord! Therefore, protect us from trailing behind in humanity, blot out from us our iniquities, and let our end be in the company of those who have made room for others to advance in the society." [2:186. The caller being the Quran. Abraar = Those who create opportunities for others to make progress]

3:194 And our Lord! Grant us what You have promised to us through Your Messengers. And save us from humiliation on the Day of Resurrection. For, You never break the Promise. [24:55]

3:195 Thus their Lord accepts and answers their prayer, Indeed, I never let the work of any worker, male or female, go vain. You are members, one of another. Hence, those who emigrate, and are driven from their homelands, and suffer harm in My Cause, and fight, and are slain, I shall certainly blot out their faults, erasing the imprints of their misdeeds on their self. And certainly, I shall admit them into Gardens with streams flowing beneath - a handsome return from God's Presence. For, with God is the fairest return of actions. [2:186]

3:196 Let not the thump and thud, and decorum of the opponents of the Divine System, in townships, impress you.

3:197 It is but a brief enjoyment. Eventually, Hell is their resting place, and how uncomfortable a bed it is to lie on! [Wrong systems take away inner peace, and collapse to a life of Hell in both worlds]

3:198 But those who remain mindful of their Lord, for them are Gardens with streams flowing beneath, therein to abide - a Gift of Welcome from their Lord. For, with God is the best reward for those who have grown in humanity and eased the way for others.

3:199 And behold! Among the People of the Book are some who believe in God, and in what is revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before God, and do not trade away Gods revelations for a trifling gain. Surely, their reward is with their Lord. For, behold, God is Swift in account. [3:113-114]

3:200 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Persevere in patience and constancy, outdo others in steadfastness, and remain united, strengthening each other. And be mindful of God, so that you truly prosper.
