Construction of New Clinical Tower at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Lahore

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Lahore is going to witness the largest expansion since its opening, twenty-two years ago. The addition of this nine level Clinical Tower will greatly increase the Hospital's capacity to treat more poor cancer patients. USD 34 million is needed for the construction of this Clinical Tower. شوکت خانم ہسپتال اچھا ہے مگر سنا ہے کہ وہاں مکمل چھان بین کے بعد جس مریض کو مفت علاج کی سہولت مہیا کی جاتی ہے اسے عملی مہارتوں کے تختہ امتحان بنا لیا جاتا ہے۔ یعنی اس کو مریض سے زیادہ ایک طبی عملی امتحان /پریکٹیکل تجربہ گاہ کے طور پر استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔

اگر یہ بات درست ہے تو یہ نہایت غیر انسانی رویہ ہے۔ ​
