You are right, but the Rafale is a very recent addition to the Indian Air Force, just as the J-10s are for Pakistan. Even during the previous major skirmish in 2019, it was mostly Pakistan’s F-16s facing off against India’s Sukhois and MiGs. The JF-17s, once again, were used in a strike role rather than as air superiority fighters. The Rafale fighter jet, while primarily a French design, relies on several American-made components and technologies, including auxiliary power units, lighting systems, fuel nozzles, wheel brakes, and various electronic and mechanical components. Early prototypes even used the American F404 engine, which powers the F-18 Hornet. While the Rafale is largely indigenous, its reliance on American components highlights the globalized nature of modern fighter jet development and supply chains.

True. I don't see much difference between them and American. I just want to ask you a question. What do you think what averted this war? Is this Pakistani attack, Indian attack or Trump? You are right, but the Rafale is a very recent addition to the Indian Air Force, just as the J-10s are for Pakistan. Indeed, from our prospective, we managed to repel them as usual. However, there are many aspects of this conflict which both countries can take away.if you ask me i would say following won us the war
Fearless army boss who injected the same belief in his officers that if we are threatened, we will respond with full force and win
Our Airforce and its very capable and brilliant chief Sindhoo Sb,
Our Airforce and army airdefence/strike capabilities in last few years have really gone better, uav warfare divisions and electronic warfare enhancement, along with j 10 timely acquissition and all of this backed by very intense hardwork
but most of all, it was the ferocity with which we responded, and our technical suprising superiotity such as signal jamming and counter EW, both played in our favour, buzdil enemy got suprised and scared, they definitely did not expect this
Did you know, Indians grounded their planes after they lost 5 jets , they were that fearful
Finally, jazba and emaan
Above all is not an emotional rant, I have very close connections and i actually believe in above neutrally speaking too

From Pakistani perspective, we need to consider how we can further enhance our capability to produce a viable deterrence to Indian indigenous missiles Brahmos (which they able to develop with Russin cooperation) and which are hypersonic in nature. Our soft kill is okay, but we need to get some real-time defense against these missiles in future. It will be very difficult in future because of the short distance between the countries. Maybe we need to look back at our HQ-9 and either improve it or abandoned it with some more robust air defense system.
Indian were able to hit our airbases and our sites using their weapon systems. They can look at their success and they may work on them to improve them even better next time. First time, they were able to hit us from standout positions without placing their jets in harm's way.
That is the key: Complete air superiority,Period. Hard to get without sacrifices. Once it is achieved, the game is over.yes you are right, Brahmos is a very effective and capable system
both countries bases are close to each other, no one can completely stop incoming projectiles we still managed to down most of their branhmos
complete air superiority is the only option to ensure no hits
