Following the overthrow of the Shah's government on 11 February 1979 (22 Bahman 1357), members of the old regime, including senior generals, were executed by the revolutionary leadership. For this purpose, the Islamic regime formed komitehs (committees) in all provinces.[33] Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani was the chief of the Central Provisional Komiteh for the Islamic Revolution.[33]

in Iran there was a puppet installed called the shah of Iran. this shah iran was loyal to the west and if you watch his interviews before he was deposed he blamed israel for his removal.

Don't be stupid man, the revolution was hijacked by crazy mullahs and they wiped out all their opposition including many innocents. Till today Iran is suffering because of this mullahcracy. Majority of Iranians are fed up of it and majority of youth in Iran have either become agnostic or atheist because of them.

Zia did something similar by giving immense power of mullahs and bringing in his version of Islamic laws into the country and we are still suffering from it till today in the shape of Diesel, Thrichi topi, TLP etc etc.

So yeah. Thanks but no thanks, you can keep your mullah revolution to yourself.
