If you cannot watch youtube, you have an alternative, change your IP address and then use Youtube.com

for more web proxy pages type in google web proxy and crack oon..

if above does not work, then its mean that Internet service providers are doing DPI (Deep packet inspection)
the way around to that is encrypted session.. as below..


Best is to use Encrypted web proxy.. very difficult to find what you are doing..

Why HotSpot Shield, most of times such software also use your system as proxy point for others ;) you know nothing is free :)

to check, use minimal computer applications, stop unnecessary applications using internet and check your system for remote connections by type netstat -a in command prompt , see how many established connections..

audit your system if you system is slow..

There are some websites blocked for some reasons and if we share information like you did, people will be able to access not only youtube but the other stuff as well which is banned in pakistan. I think people can live without youtube for a while.

but why Govt banned youtube? is that a solution?

Govt want to play on on people's sacrifice why not Govt throws out US Diplomats out of country until their Govt stop such acts or why not Pakistan Govt goes to Saudi Govt and ask for permanent solution..

Our Govts are not serious about stopping of making those videos... you think that stopping Youtube in Pakistan effects those who make such videos in any way?? Hell No..

But this is not the way to deal with it , spreading proxy websites! sooner rathar than later youtube will be unbanned, but very few people will use proxy websites only to access youtube. So we must support the government banning atleast on the obscene material and do not make it easy for the fellow pakistanis to access it.

JEE meray bahi.. i suggest you not to install such applications .... also when you use any kind of intermediary connection.. all you network traffic passes from their network and they can see your login, password details etc.. If they want to .. so its not recommended to use any service such as facebook, hotmail which requires your password... but to access websites , you can use that..

anyway.. can't explain here..

I am not supporting the ban of youtube , I am supporting the banning of obscene websites (pornography) and if you are living in pakistan you must know that a lot of pornography websites have been banned. Proxy gives access to all these banned websites , if this argument is not good enough to not share proxy websites then nothing is.

Well you are right to some extent but not everyone want to use proxy for pornography.. its like don't buy TV as you may watch porn on it? nothign wrong with TV or Proxy, depends how one uses it..

I was in Pakistan and could not use youtube. For me its just a trick to stop information coming to ppl. I used Hotspot sheild on my home windows pc , on my Macbook and on my Galaxy Tab2 10.1. it worked on all without any problem. Only problem was electricity :))) I have PTCL line at my home in Pakistan

its PTA who blocked youtube and too many other sites and they did that with some purpose because of religious parties...PTCL have no concern with that,PTCL have to follow PTA rules,so its not PTCL who blocked the sites or lift blocks from any site,its PTA,people in pakistan using hotspot,spotflux,vpn softwares to gain access to all websites.

use a site called "Proxfree.com" always works with youtube, If the live streaming goes down, you can Download the whole video at a speed of 1-2 MBPS that's a real & working trick...wish you best of luck...
