Business Advice needed

Problem is your initial investment. Its not enough to start a business. I have seen too many entrepreneurs run into liquidity issues because they went into business with too little cash.

I dont think I would consciously advice anything for Pakistan, simply because I do not know.

Investing in Southern US regions of Housing, especially tourist spots, would be good investments. International Markets: Nicaragua farm land where one simply rotates crops to get the soil moist and enriched for 4 years and then sell the farms for commercial activity. Yielding about 12~20% return. Then you got Phosphate fields in Morocco which one can buy and simply sit on it till you are approached by a multi-national fertilizer firm.

And if you got time, go thru the book - World Right side up by the head of Agora Financials. Try to tinker with ideas from it for Pakistan and go for it.

Just thought of this to share. Look up Obi100, Obi110. VOIP solutions. Import then, install Google Voice on them and sell them in Pakistan. I know they work because 2 of my friends are using these there.

Also, you got Currency business. I think it was last year I shared info here about BITCOIN. It was about $4/5 per bitcoin then. Today its $23 per coin. Set up banking channels here, buy bitcoin, transfer them to Pakistan and sell the digital currency in Rupee with your profit spread.

First of all thanks for your valuable thoughts..... But some of your ideas are too corporate and big for a business unaware like me.....

Since my brother has a business setup already in Karachi, he is a supplies Oil, Rice, Flour and other grocery items to small shops.... I am thinking to start some Oil, Ghee, rice business since the big suppliers in the market can easily provide these items to me with almost zero investment because of my brother's PR in the market....

By the way I am a computer engineer by profession but sadly the degree didn't help me so far.... I am a technology enthusiastic, I can repair and maintain computer hardware and Networks.... But am afraid of starting any business in that area because i don't have any business experience in that area..... However the FMCG type business is my family business so I can hold my foot there.....

If any other suggestion regarding these new updated information, please do share....

Open up a free Google voice account, set up that account on this box. and sell it.

Buy maybe 20 pieces and try out how well they sell. I know my friends are begging for these in Pakistan (for those who know what this is)

Obi has come out with business versions of these mini-exchanges. Look into those products.

Set up Selling sites in the Mid-east coz once you have this box installed in Pakistan and Mideast, your calls are free to Mideast, Pakistan, US and Canada.

Since Govt has raised its taxes on international calls, people are being forced to look elsewhere to save money. And the voice quality of this box is very impressive.
