I bought a Galaxy S2 in 2011. It went from Gingerbread 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 to 4.0.3 to 4.1.2. Battery life is over 1 day 6 hours on full charge. Just upgraded to stock JellyBean and can't find a need to buy a newer phone because everything works like butter. Best phone ever. However I am keeping an eye on the upcoming Galaxy S4, which is due out in about 10 days time. ;)

well that's great.Personally I get bored from not the phone but from the OS after using it for a while so i use custom roms and other ninja crazy stuff to keep the experience fresh. Its really a curse.

I am too scared to go that route. The Rooting, the custom roms. :P I cannot afford a replacement if I brick it. :P
