Bitcoin can only be successful if it is exchanged with services. As long as exchanges are involved BC cannot take off. One to One and person to person will establish the worth of bitcoin.
As long as you convert you bitcoin with Fiat(paper) money it cannot take off. Because you are exchanging Bitcoin ( that cannot be duplicated and cannot be destroyed, limited in its nature like GOLD) with paper money which can be printed out of thin air and is unlimited.

A long long time ago last year btc was valued at around 1000. To be honest it's already taken off. In fact it took off too fast too high and hence is now correcting itself. But I agree with you on the exchange though and Europe is making it a possibility. Rest will catch up sooner or later.
I personally don't care if it hits 50k or goes down to 1k as long as its stable. I like the idea of being in control of my money, Not into it for trading.

What is the purpose of this video, if any? Or what is the information contained in this video, if any? The currency, its origin and the modern concepts of currency and related monetary theories are well known.
The idea of bitcoin is closely related with cryptocurrency and digital accounting for its worth for the purpose of currency exchange. Better to focus on the distinct features of this concept to assess for its pros and cons, than to popularize/normalize the Bitcoin using useless videos. (This criticism is towards the video producer, and not towards the poster of this video)
