I am not against Muslim rule if he or she wins election and gets majority in parliament. Remember India already had 2 Muslim presidents...

Complete strike observed on Indias Independence Day in Kashmir
NEW DELHI, Aug 15 (APP) -Complete strike was observed in occupied Kashmir on Saturday, the Independence Day of India and Kashmiris boycotted the flag hoisting ceremony in Bakhshi Stadium which was held under tight security arrangement.The state gave a deserted look as the day was observed as black day. The people remained indoors while all markets and commercial centres remained closed while traffic was off the road. (They remain in house to show support to India ;) )

The strike call was given by Kashmiri organizations including APHC. The whole Kashmir was looked like a fortress and thousands of security personnel were deployed on the roads and streets of the cities and towns of the state.
The APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and other Kashmiri leaders have demanded to resolve the Kashmir issue at the earliest for the sake of peace in South Asia.

Meanwhile, held state Chief Minister Umer Abdullah apologised from Kashmiris over the Shopian rape and murder case.

He hoisted the tricolour at the heavily-guarded Bakshi stadium in Srinagar on the occasion of Independence Day.

He said on the occasion that New Delhi should initiate talks with Pakistan to settle all outstanding issues.

I request the Central government to initiate talks with Pakistan to settle all outstanding issues, he said adding gun has not solved any problem but has caused death and destruction.
