Islam is based on (the following) five (principles)

Reasons for making sects:
Mutual disliking and mutual disrespect (Bagyaman bainhum).
In the presence of clear proofs of Guidance (bayaynaat), making sects is
qualified as "Making Kufr(disbelief) after Eeman(belief).
For such people there is Azaabulazeem (Tremendous Punishment).

Source: Quran, Where all people who make, promote and identify themselves
in different sects, stand in the light of Quranic guidance????

Alim in this video talked everything but anything concrete. Just keep on repeating
the rhetoric of "on Which I am and also my companions". Qoolo qolan sadeeda concept
was not there at all.
Sura Alay Imran's verses 103 to 107 are clear about those who make sects.

Brother, Shahadah means to testify or give witness, in urdu we call it shahadat. We all recite first kalima which is "I bear witness that there is no diety worthy of worship except Allah (S.W.T) and Mohammed (S.A.W) is the mesenger of Allah". Basically we give shahadah for the tawhid of Allah (S.W.T) that he is one and unique.

We also recite second kalima which is called Kalima-e-shahadat or shahadah, "I bear witness that none is worthy of worship but Allah (S.W.T), the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Mohammad (S.A.W) is His servant and Messenger

You are right Tawhid is the foundation of Islam, if you do not believe in oneness of Allah (S.W.T) then everything else is in vain.
