With Steve Jobs, good days are also gone for Apple. Only he had the genius for making closed devices like iPhone and Macs successful. Without him they cannot run for too long unless they make some serious changes in their products and business models...

Samsung is a better choice to me for various reasons either S3 or Note2 only problem with these is their sizes rest is much better than Apple and specially if you also use cloud services .
