Salaries of govt. employees, members Parliament hiked

ISLAMABAD: The 15 per cent raise in the salaries of government employees will also be applicable on member parliament and it will be effective from July 1st next month.
This increase in the salaries of members parliament was legislated three years ago while the 15 per cent addition to their salaries will add extra 5300 rupees to basic salaries and following this addition, the total emolument of an MNAs salary will stand at 40,300 rupees.
Other allowances and bonuses combine to make over one lak rupees salary for an MNA.
