Advice Needed-Foreign currency exchange in Pakistan

Pl can anyone suggest the best way to change foreign currency when visiting Pakistan.

I rather not use the local currency exchangers as that will be counter productive to Pak economy. I would prefer soemthing like the State Bank but want a good deal as per open market rates!

Your advice will be appreciated. Thank you

you want better deal ,open market rates and yet you want to deal with statebank. Man state bank keep its rate below the open market rate deliberately to keep dollars out flow in check.
Just use bank and dont worry about money changers or be like 99.99% expats and just use money changer and help poor people their.

i dont know exactly where r u living, but banks like ubl, hbl etc have some remittance like tezraftar, give good rates and money goes directly to u or ur relative bank account and it add as remittance which isn't taxable and add as foreign reserve in banking equation

Thanks. I planned to visit Pakistan and take foreign cash with me. I want to change when I arrive.

I would advise to remit via banking channels, and go cash free. Else you will be hounded at the airport by the qulis and drivers, who in many cases want to get paid in dollars

Yes I would also advise to do the same, remit the money to Pakistan before you arrive and withdraw it once you are there.
