5% revenue of sindh used on karachi out of the 93% that karachi makes - Is this my fault? What the heck have the MQM ministers, MNAs, MPAs and Governor been doing for the last many years, other than enjoying the perks. Should a common man like me who is not an MP go inside the parliament the discuss this issue? As a citizen I want results, not excuses, especially when you've been in power for a very long time.

Mustafa Kamal - Enough of this cr*p now. It was Mustafa Kamal's personal initiative, not the MQM mindset. If I'm wrong tell me (a) Why he ran away from his own Karachi and (b) Why Farooq Sattar didn't do it when he enjoyed Karachi's mayorship for a long time?

When I was born - No idea when you baccha party was born. I saw Altaf Hussain when he used to deliver speeches in very small gatherings along with Dr Imran Farooq, saw Amir Khan and Aafaq defecting and returning, saw MQM's fall down and their re-emergence and a lot of other stuff. Saw my neighbours and relatives picking up TTs, Repeaters, Mausers and Kalashnikovs and getting wasted. Held a TT only once in my hands during my primary school days, thanks to MQM. Do your storytelling in front of others - Don't try to teach your Papa.

Exactly, what you said above. I have always told my friends, who are MQM blind followers that AH is powerful enough. He only need to say it once, that make Karachi a better place to live, and no power in Karachi can stop them. there is no difference between illiterate people of interior sindh who support ppp no matter what, and those people in karachi who still support mqm. Both have jazbati lagao with these parties fully knowing that these parties have not delivered on anything they stand for. one stand for roti kapra makan the other for equal rights for so called "mohajirs". while ppp elites got all the benefits of being in power, nothing done for the poor and needy for whom they came into power. mqm story is no different. check out the wealth of babar ghori just as one example and you will agree.

Nahin, aisa nahin hai. Ab farq yeh hai keh MQM mein ziada tar karkun jahil ujhad ganwar hain. Pehlay eik sey eik Parha likha banda hota tha, ab nahin. Meri interaction kafi rahee unit/sector office mein, pehlay buhat achay taleem yafta log hotey thay. jo bilqul PTI ki tarz par, voluntarily kaam kartey thay. Nazrey key saath hotey thay. Ab tu jo jitna hath chor, gali denay wala ghunda hai, woh utna bara sector/unit incharge hai. Naukri bhi in key kaan toton ko milti hai. literally ungotha chap office ban betha hai.

Is liye, ziyadatar log mqm key khilaf ho gaye hain.

Baqi, har kisi ka haq hai, apni ghalti ko man kar usey sahi karna. woh mqm karey , ppp ya pmln . bhala ho ga awam ka.

MQM did succeed in bringing local bodies, if you remember SPLGO in 2013, till then all other parties opposed it PTI, PMLN etc, they opposed becasue these parties never got the issue about karachi, the very prime issue is local bodies, these parties opposed it because they have no interest in karachi bu want to exploit the political anarchy so that they find space in the city, because of the constant hue cry by the sindhi nationalists who equated it to breaking sindh, PPP got the card it was looking for that is nationalist card, and when major parties opposed it it had a reason to push it back

these backward thinking parties are the cause of the troubles of Karachi to be honest

but this time i hope MQM demands a separate province so that the funding issue of karachi are over once and for all

this is the thing, that when MQM achieves something or demands some very legitimate political thing in the country, the backward thinking parties oppose it and MQM feels politically isolated in pakistan, just like the new provinces demand has left MQM isolated, no other party is support such demand

While studying in a University in Karachi why back in 1995-96 I remember our Karachi classmate taking us to Ataf bhai khitaab at 90, we started laughing loudly at his antics and our Karachi friend nearly had a heart attack!!
Never ever did he risk taking us to any MQM programs!!!
He now works in a different city and has no links with MQM any more,.....
huh... the good old days...
